This book written by Yong Kil titled “Competitive Taekwondo” is useful for a very specific student in Taekwondo. If you are focused on becoming an Olympic caliber athlete or just want to improve your sparring skills then this book will help you get there. The type of student that focuses on the sport style of TKD and more specifically sparring. This book does not cover forms so if you are looking for that type of information then you will need to look elsewhere.

Even though I didn’t start learning Muay Thai until I was 24 I absolutely love it! It is the latest martial arts I have set my sites on to become educated at doing. The mentality and fighting style of the muay thai fighters fit my personality perfectly so I just had to pick-up the technical skills with the style as quick as possible. So, I broke them down into a few tips and wanted to share them with you here.
