on “Bones” Jones, the current UFC light-heavyweight champion has said in interviews he considers UFC middleweight champion his idol, but has also said he would like to fight him one day. Looking at Jones’ performances so far in the UFC, he appears to be a younger, taller version of Silva. Anderson Silva and the Most Dominant Run in UFC History
Few fighters manage to find consistent success inside the octagon. Every man has an off night, and an off night at the highest level of competition often leads to defeat, at least for most. Anderson “The Spider” Silva is clearly a different animal, as even when offering forth a mediocre performance, he’s able to dispose of his foes, and amazingly he still manages to make elite fighters seem amateur in the process.

After years of questionable talent lingering around the 185 pound division, fans, as well as promotional brass must be reasonably pleased with emerging talents in the middleweight division. For the first time in half a decade plus there are genuinely talented fighters cluttering the division, and a few gentlemen look to be legitimate threats to long reigning champion, and pound-for-pound king, Anderson Silva. While Silva isn’t likely to enter any bout as an underdog in the near future, a few names certainly have stirred intrigue.

I have been waiting for this book to release since I first heard about Victory Belt publishing, Anderson Silva’s “striking” volume in his upcoming book series. So, to get to the point I was not disappointed.
