Even in the ranks of highschool football players are turning to MMA in order to improve their abilities on the gridiron. Walt Spidle, a 5-foot-10, 170-pound starting center for the West Brook football team used MMA training during the off-season increase his ability on the field.
“I wanted to try it out, and it helped a lot. That’s for sure. It helps with your hand movement and your footwork.” says Spidle
