Pinan Nidan

This video shows the second half of the pinan nidan. This is also an interpretation of the kata that we use. Kata are one of the most important aspects in any traditional martial arts and Karate is no different.

Below are the actual steps of the Pinan Nidan Kata.

5. Turn, naihanchi, down punch

8. Turn, left seisan, down block
9. High block

12. Turn 45 deg left seisan, left down block
13. 1st face punch
14. Turn 45 deg right seisan, right down block
15. 2nd face punch
16. Left seisan, left down block

19. Right punch
20. Turn only, 45 deg nekoashi
21. Low pinan block
22. Right nekoashi, low pinan block
