Like this video states you need to select exercises in your MMA training that will effectively transfer the strength and agility
gained into actual function movement in the octagon or ring. For these to work there are four factors that must be considered they are:
- Direction of force that is being produced
- Joint angles that is used within the exercise
- The actual resistance load and type (ballistic vs. co-contraction)
- Speed or velocity of the movement.
